Mackenzie's Makeup and hair photoshoot.

We just went on a trip to Colorado and while I was there one of my best friends had a dance performance that she asked me to do her hair and makeup for, but before we did I got to do some of my favorite hair and makeup on her for my book!! Here or the pictures and the discriptions on what everything it and everything I used. Hope you like it. :)

This first one is her hair, on the front sides we did two French braids, then at the bottom we attached a fish tale braid all the way down.
Here you can see the French braid on the side. It looks much better as a loose braid compared to a tight braid.

This shot shows how all three of the braids come together.
This is just a great picture of the hair.
For the makeup I wanted to keep it simple are fresh with a natural eye look and soft pink lush with a rose lip.

this is a perfect look or weddings, and special events.
This is not the best picture, but it shows the eye colors well, after the eye primer I added a white shade to the lids, on top of that again on the lids I added a small amount of a light pink. Then in the crease add a grey silver color, after that ass a very small amount of black again to the crease and blend well. Last add a cream color as the highlight on the brow bone. with a small brush add a line line of black or dark brown eyeliner. Last but not least add the mascara.
for foundation I used a liquid foundation and a light setting powder. the apples of the cheeks are a baby pink blended with a bronze for a summer glow.
                                                                  Here is the final look.
So what you are going to see now is for her performance, with a beautiful eye and a messy braid up-do.
The sides are a two twist French braid going back into the up-do.
Here is the back bun of the messy up-do. from 2 pony tails twisted together as one and pined in to a twist.
Here you can see that like French braid we take sections of hair and add it into the braid, but un like the French braid it is only using 2 sections to start with more like the rope or twist braid. but it lifts the face and adds volume, as you will see in the next photo.
And here is the final look. The makeup as done not by me but by Mackenzie before th hair. Although her makeup as not done by me the hair was and I wanted to show this picture for just the hair.

I hoped everyone likes this and there will be many more to come from not only Mackenzie but others who I get the  to do there hair and makeup. Please if you have any questions please ask. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!! XOXO Megan

E.L.F Cosmetics review.

I have a serious makeup addiction. I have tried so many brands of makeup and I have fallen in love with some and have found some that I don't enjoy very much. But E.L.F cosmetics in one of the best I have tried. It is comparable to some of the top cosmetic lines such as MAC, NARS, and Smashbox. But the best part is that it is more then half the price of the top brands. I can go online And spend 100 dollars and  from the top brands at most I can get around 3-5 items. But from E.L.F I can it 5-10 items. You may be interested on What E.L.F stands for. Eyes, Lips, Face. You can purchase E.L.F cosmetics at Target stores at different times of year, but always on   http://www.eyeslipsface.com/makeup
